My posting schedule tends to be: Daily and weekly for the most part due to not having a life, lol

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Fandom/flavour-of-the-month/fanfiction posting, constant politics talk or arguing about politics, YouTube spam, homophobes and lesbophobes, bigots of all stripes, bad grammar and spelling, inactive accounts/blank journals, Twitter/TikTok types, white saviour types, religious weirdos, gooners/porn addicts, AI "art" bros, and wannabe edgy lords/mean girls (this ain't 4Chan, blud!).

Before adding me, you should know: I'm a black woman with ADHD and Dyslexia; so please be patient with me and try not to be randomly racist lmao. I do post vents, but only when I feel it's appropriate. I'm basically always free to chat; so feel free to message me :D, I do have an edgy sense of humour, but I'm smart enough to tone it down if needed, I'm based in the UK - so I might not see your message immediately if you're in a different timezone, and please avoid labelling me a furry :/

My hobbies are:
Reading (especially secondhand or annotated books), mending clothes by hand, brewing tea like it’s a spell, walking in the woods, archiving, journalling, and noticing the in-between moments.

My fandoms are:
Discworld (especially the witches), gentle fantasy, soft folklore, The Last Unicorn, Stardew Valley, and anything that feels like wool and wonder.

English, Psychology, History, and Political Science.

3. Name three things you would change about this world.

I’d impeach Trump and throw him in jail.

Radical acceptance, on a world-wide level, for LGBT+ people.

Equal rights and treatment for women.

(Bonus: I’d advocate for religious theology classes to be taught as early as high school. The youth need to be able to form their own opinions from a young age and not have religion shoved down their throats).

Barbies and Barney.

1. Name one person you could be handcuffed to for a full day.

I could answer this in two ways, but I’ll go with the most fun. I’d elect my best friend Kristi or (assuming she wouldn’t be insufferable) Sabrina Carpenter. I feel either woman would be a good sport about it and try to make the best of the situation.

- Worked on the purse I'm knitting for myself, which is about 75% done with the knitting
- Searched my stash of fabric scraps for a potential lining fabric (to unsatisfying results, I was sure I had some fabric left over from the red prototype skirt, but I couldn't find it)
- Consequently, refreshed my memory about dyeing fabric with tea
- Took photos of items we are getting rid of, to post online to give away or sell
- Put nice new silver ear-wires on a pair of cheap earrings that were irritating my ears
- Added a thingy to the necklace Sparkly gave me a while ago, to keep it from getting twisted around while I'm wearing it
- Made a pair of red and yellow earrings to match the Maya Kern poppies skirt that Sparkly got me a while ago, because I didn't have any jewelry to wear with it

I mostly stopped wearing jewelry a few years ago, from a combo of not-practical-for-work and not-practical-for-covid, but I used to have several things I wore every day and I'm trying to get back to that now that it's practical. I'm also realizing that I really like how dangly earrings look on me.

Oh and also! I started reading one of my books from the

1. What was the most sick that you've ever been?

I cannot remember them all, but I was like 17/18 in high school when I caught something bad. High fever, dazed, bedridden. I recall another time when I had a really bad bug where I had to crawl to the bathroom because I was so sick. Back in 2022 I had gotten my first dose of the Covid shot and was vomiting for like 7-10 days straight. I went to urgent care and they gave me Zofran and told me to wait it out. It was brutal. Worst I’ve ever been was when I had Covid the first time back in December 2021. I was bedridden for 3 weeks and the virus led to my POTS being triggered and chronic fatigue with hypersomnia.

2. What disease are you afraid of getting?

Dementia, cancer, anything fatal or that would incapacitate me.

3. Are you a big baby when it comes to taking medicine/shots for your illnesses?

I used to be, but now it’s nothing. As my health has gotten worse over the years I’ve had to get used to lots of meds and being poked and prodded.

4. Is going to the doctor really THAT bad?

No, I love my Primary Care Doc and my mental health team. My Cardiologist is awesome too and so are his NPs. And my Neurologist’s NP is lovely.

5. Would you have the flu twice a month if you were paid $1,000 for having it?

Fuck, no!
